co curricular activities

Co-curricular activities play a prominent role in shaping the personality of a student. Our activities include Public Speaking Course, Class Bulletin Board Display, Dramatic Club, Science Club, Dance Club, Chess Club, WWF Club, Maths Club and Philately Club. Various competitions are held during the Co-curricular Period (CCA) based on the House system to enhance healthy competition among students. We have four houses viz. Diana, Mother Teresa, P.T. Usha and Abdul Kalam.

teaching

Our teachers are dedicated to their work. All the staff are appraised every six months and they also receive continuous in-service training conducted by specialists to ensure their methods and content are up to date and relevant to the child’s needs.
We have limited our class size to enable each teacher to give effective teaching to each and every child. Their spoken and written English shall be of such a standard that they will follow each class in English without any need to learn by heart questions and answers.
All the relevant teaching will be done by our teachers during school time. If extra coaching is required, please contact the Principal. Students of middle school onwards should follow a fixed study time-table at home.
Extra tuition by outside tutors is unnecessary and HARMFUL in some situations

Language Laboratory

In the academic year June 2008, we introduced Linguaphone Language Laboratory for classes KG to IVth std. The Linguaphone Language Laboratory is a very powerful concept to introduce Global English speaking skills to students. There has been a marked improvement in their pronunciation and fluency, after it was implemented.

smart class

We introduced Multimedia Class 5 years ago and this has been valuable in improving teaching, presentation, by both teachers as well as the students. This modern technology provides an audio-visual input to their routine class room teaching.

* Smart class in class 1

karadi path

Karadi path was introduced in our school in (2018-2019) for classes LKG – (Level-1), UKG – (Level -2) and for Std. I (Level-2). Karadi path education singly focus on English language proficiency at the early childhood. Karadi path is an unique methodology that follows the mother tongue approach. It is easy to acquire any language naturally, if one is immersed in it with stimulus from the environment. Karadi path does the same with proper structural content, without teaching words, meanings and grammar. Students would derive their understanding of the language from the context with communication built around it.
